Ha! Its been a long day. Finally kicked my shoes off.
There is a story in the bible of two travelers who leave jerusalem after jeses death. They are followers of Christ and are quite saddened that things didn't turn out the way they thought it would.
But while walking, Jesus actually joins them on this journey. They don't know its him until he breaks bread with them.
This weekend, I am on an Emmaus Walk with some men. Some of them are beaten down, others are numb, some have followed Jesus with all they had and been disappointed.
But the journey really is an important - and when I return from my weekend retreat, maybe you and I can continue walking through life.
